“We firmly believe that children learn far more when Learning is
Fun and Interesting”
Hand picked by the management, all members of staff within Lindfield Nursery School
either hold the requisite Professional Qualification or have a high level of experience
and skills in teaching young children.
In September 2014 we, as part of our commitment to Nursery Career training, were
pleased to welcome Chole Cooke who joined us as part of the Apprenticeship Scheme.
Terisa Tuffin is working with Chole to develop her Nursery Teaching skills and qualifications
while she continues her formal studies at the Central Sussex College.
Nursery Practitioner, Lesley Wells is undertaking in house training to attain an
NVQ 3 in Nursery School Teaching, and we are pleased to advise that she has almost
completed her training.
All staff are fully vetted prior to employment and are carefully supervised by the
management team to ensure a consistent, caring, attentive and personal interaction
with all children within our care.
As Nursery School Manager I, Terisa Tuffin have also decided to work toward a Foundation
Degree in Early Years, attending the University of Chichester, to give the Nursery
further depth in Pre-school care skills. This new knowledge will, of course, be cascaded
down to the entire Nursery staff.
