Oathall Farm Trip - 27th April 2011
Wednesday 27th April dawned slightly cold and overcast but that wasn't going to stop us enjoying ourselves at Oathall Farm. We gathered outside the gates and then made our way  up to the entrance.
The children and adults were divided into 2 groups, one was taken off down to the farm to meet the animals while the other group made their way to the greenhouse to see how the farm grow and sell their own plants/vegetables. The children thoroughly enjoyed doing their rain dance to make it rain on the plants growing and as if by magic the rain came!
The Rain Dance
We saw some very small calves who had literally been born the previous weekend, lots of piglets of various sizes and ages and chickens, cows and a couple of sheep.
The rain held off and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves (adults and children alike) and after a couple of hours we all departed to our houses to continue discussing our favourite animals and how big the wheel on the tractor was.
